Signature Collab with Chef Asif

Chef Asif R. Syed

Chef Asif R. Syed is a famous Indian American chef running a restaurant named 21 Spices Dining in Naples. His extraordinary work has caught a lot of eyeballs and garnered him a lot of awards and rewards. As people got to know him through his culinary talents, he also goes famous on television shows like 

  • The fifth season of Guy’s Grocery Games
  • Cutthroat Kitchen  with Alton Thomas in 2016
  • Beat Bobby Flay in Season 17 - Episode 12 
  • Chop of the Morin to Yin 2018

On “Beat Bobby Flay” he won against Bobby Flay in a culinary showdown, with his signature dish of Tandoori Chicken. He recently became James Beard featured chef on November 16th, 2019 for conducting a dinner at the James Beard House called Innovative Indian Cuisine by Chef Asif.

1) Wash the chicken  and add coat with white vinegar and leave for 15 minutes 

2) Add all the spices and S2K blend and leave it in the fridge 24 hours or 2 hours outside 

3) Grill on the charcoal grill

1) Add all the chicken and spices 

2) Mix well (Don’t add too much onion and also make sure it’s fried)

3) Wrap it around an iron skewer or thick wooden skewer and leave it in the fridge for 24 hrs it will be firm and won’t fall apart when you grill 

4) Straight from the fridge grill it, as you did on pan both sides, and finish in the oven for 15 minutes at 350 degrees, Fahrenheit

1) 2 pounds of Chicken breast 

2) Vegetable Oil 

3) Dice Chicken breast in big cubes (like chicken tikka). Wash with white vinegar, Add ginger and Garlic paste all the above spices, Add little sour cream, shredded mozzarella cheese, and dry mint leaves, oil leave it for 4 hrs in the fridge or outside for 2 hours, Grill on charcoal or sauté on a hot non-stick pan with vegetable oil finish in oven 350/F for 10 minutes
